2020 Update!

Hello! Happy Wednesday!
I feel like it's been a really long time since I made a blog post! Life has been very busy for me!  In November 2019, My husband and I went on a trip for our honeymoon in Jamaica! It was wonderful there. Everyone was super nice and it was also very nice to be able to be lazy for a week and sip on some coconut rum! We also got to enjoy Jamaica's sunsets, I don't think I've seen anything more beautiful! The food! The food was amazing, we tried many new things. I'll be sure to share some photos! https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1LPqGcJTl6-9I7HsYWlUFg3LZIE5zMzuL

Now that we are in the end of March 2020, I'm going to be more active with posting snail mail/crafty/recipe post! Along with something new I thought would be good new for you snail mailers, In January 2020 I open my own Facebook group to make and sell address, please deliver to labels, stationery, envelopes and pen pal kits. Since the virus going around right now I had to put a spot to my printing and my printer broke :( but I have came up with an idea that I would make and sell PDF downloads for my stationery papers! I also thought that sharing one PDF download stationery would be a good idea also. There will be a tab on my blog for the downloadable free PDF file so you can print it off at home, All I ask is you do not SELL them as your own, I pay for a licence to be able to create it myself and sell. Please do not us my work as your own to sell. With the download you are able to print out two stationery papers on one sheet of paper, I will also have a matching lined and unlined set so you can choose to pick whatever you like! I will have one free download for each month! Since March is about done I will have one for April and if you can guess the theme will be spring!!! Please see blog post PDF Stationery download for more info! https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1Z4cjpjccilvZrtKfTJCyGrbvl2NRDnKt

my Pen Pal on Instagram sent me a beautiful letter with some goodies all wrapped up in this beautiful tissue paper! I put some pictures down below for everyone to see.

A Pen Pal's Dictionary (tips & Tricks)

A Pen Pal's Dictionary (tips & Tricks)  Happy mail:  Any kind of nice mail in the mailbox, other than bills, etc. Happy mail can be letters, postcards, surprises, etc. Mail that makes the receiver happy.   Snail mail: Traditional mail that is sent from a person to another person by conventional postal delivery services. Named after a snail because of its slow speed.  Artist Trading Card (ATC):  A small card of the size 2.5 x 3.5 inches (64 x 89 mm) that one decorates any way they want. The only rules are the size and that they are to be traded, not sold. They can be kept in albums in business card holders.  Pocket letter: A decorative element composed of embellished cards that are 2.5" x 3.5" that fit in a baseball card holder, sometimes there is a theme but other times sender gets to pick the theme. The pocket letter is supposed to contain goodies in the pockets (stickers, teabags, washi, etc.) plus a letter. People also do mini pocket le...

Pocket Letters A & Q

I started Pocket Letters when I got into pen paling in 2017 and loved it so much! Today I’ll be teaching you how to make them and what you need. So let’s get started!  What's a Pocket Letter? Pocket Letters are a new way to send letters to your new or existing penpals. It's a penpal letter in pocket format. Basically, you fill all the pockets of a 9 Pocket Trading Card Protector and send the whole page to someone who wants to swap with you. This can be a one-time exchange or you can keep exchanging Pocket Letters. You fill the pockets with anything you like (stickers, tea bags, a note, washi tape samples, pictures, die cuts, charms, etc.) A short note or letter is included and tucked into one of the pockets. Then the Pocket Letter is folded up and sent in an envelope. It's the perfect way to send and collect letters from other Pocket Letter Pals (ie people who are sending mail in this format) around the world and a convenient way to store them. They fit...
